We all like a good laugh don`t we? Ever since the first caveman tripped over his spear and sent his fellow hunters into fits of uncontrollable laughter, we humans have enjoyed humour. Humour is a very personal thing though, as what is funny to one person might not seem as funny to others. The latest Comedians such as Peter Kay and Johnny Vegas will have many of us in stitches but others might not quite like their brand of humour. Some view the early silent stars of the screens as the pioneers of comedy with legends like Charlie Chaplin, Buster Keaton, Laurel and Hardy and Harold Lloyd setting the early comic boundaries. These days stand up comedy is all the rage and it would be interesting to see how the stars of old would take to this type of comedy. Around the country many Comedians ply the audience with their observations on life and it can make for a very entertaining evening. Many private and corporate functions employ Comedians to liven up the night and delegates can find themselves with many well-known faces standing on the stage in front of them. Certain companies specialise in providing Comedians for functions of varying degrees and they can provide all the familiar talents that are currently doing the comedy circuits. Events can be made or finished depending on the types of talents that attend, however with established Comedians on the microphone, the bash will turn out fine. We all like a good laugh it`s what makes us human and with such a talented crop of Comedians around at the moment, we`ll be giggling for a long time to come.
